Day 2 of Korea - Busan!

Day 2 of Korea Trip

I took the opportunity when the Kpop shop was closed and when nosy shopkeepers won't ask me what I'm doing and when people walking by won't judge me. XD

Huge-ass 2PM lightstick.

More shots of the Kpop shop.

For those of you who watched You Are Beautiful, I was so excited to see Jang Geun Suk and Park Shin Hye endorsing the same brand next to each other! I embarrassed myself taking this because it's right at the subway station, but who cares, not like they'd remember me.

My train ticket to Busan.

To kill the 3 hour train ride, I bought the latest edition of High Cut, which is chock full of Kpop and Korean entertainment stuff. Unfortunately, I don't understand a word. But I don't need to understand Korean to appreciate this full-page advertisement.

At loooooong last.

My first view of Busan! It seemed slightly colder here than in Seoul, though I don't get why since it's further south, it should be - warmer? XD

This was the main Busan Station which obviously anyone who's lived in Busan must definitely have gone to from time to time, so when I was here, I was just like, "WOOYOUNG'S BEEN HERE. WOOYOUNG'S BEEN HERE. HAS WOOYOUNG SEEN THIS? HAS HE STEPPED HERE? OMFG!"

At Gwangaelli Beach in Busan. Now I kept thinking of whether Wooyoung's been here with his classmates or potential girlfriends before when he was a kid. :D

Busan's famous seagulls.

Isn't this cute?! It's all fluffed up. If you see closely, it has a very judgemental eye. It's like, "THE FUCK YOU LOOKING AT?" at me.

Busan's famous Jagalchi Seafood Market. A whole street of wet market selling purely seafood in its rawest form. Kinda gross but interesting at the same time. The seafood restaurants here are mad expensive so I didn't bother.

Euwww.

You know with all this thingies being part and parcel of the average Busan citizen's life, I get why Wooyoung was so so fearless with the squid during Idol Army, when they played that game where he had to dip his hand to feel an unknown item inside the box.

Lotte Town at Busan

A bigger It's Skin shop in Busan!

I took this from outside the shop window cough.

Back in Seoul! Watching Yoo Jae Suk being his usual embarrassing self.

And the famous Kimbap and Ddeokbokki. Kimbap is sort of like a lengthened sushi but with radish, cucumber and carrot inside. It's not bad at all, though I pushed out the veggies cos I don't like veggies. Ddeobokki is basically very starchy rice cake in very starchy gravy. It's only mildly spicy, and the gravy tastes a bit like tomato sauce (I think it is). Waaaay too starchy for me too. Trying to chew one was like trying to chew compressed rice. It was weird.
